Meet Jessica
Chef Jessica Knight is the owner, chef, and artist behind Bowl and Arrow, a Montana-based private chef and bespoke dessert company specializing in intimate, elevated dining experiences. As a private chef serving Bozeman, Big Sky, and Southwest Montana, she creates luxury in-home dining experiences designed to feel both refined and deeply personal.
Her work is driven by a deep love for seasonal ingredients, artistic presentation, and the joy of bringing people together around exceptional food. With a goal of bringing creativity and intention to every dish, Jessica crafts custom menus for private dinners, retreats, and special events, offering a highly personalized alternative to traditional catering.
In addition to private dining, she is a wedding cake designer creating custom wedding cakes and desserts for celebrations across Montana. Her cakes are known for being flavor-forward rather than overly sweet, with artistic designs inspired by Montana’s landscapes and natural textures—offering a creative extension of her chef-driven approach.
A Montana-born and raised chef, Jessica has been passionate about food since childhood. She honed her craft through an apprenticeship in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, before spending four years as the head chef at a fly-fishing lodge in Alaska. It was there that she met clients who later invited her to return to Montana as their personal chef—an opportunity that ultimately led to the founding of Bowl and Arrow. Now celebrating over 10 years in business, she continues to serve clients throughout Bozeman, Big Sky, Yellowstone Club, and beyond.
Jessica grew up in Harlowton, Montana, and that small-town sense of connection continues to shape her approach to hospitality. Her cuisine highlights the best of Montana’s locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully paired with exceptional products from around the world. Known for her attention to detail and elevated yet approachable style, she brings a strong dedication to communication, technique, and culinary innovation to every experience.
Whether designing a multi-course tasting menu, an elevated family-style dinner, or a custom wedding cake, Jessica approaches each creation with intention and artistry. Her work is rooted in the belief that food has the power to slow people down, foster connection, and create meaningful, lasting memories around the table.
